For those with a current or historic cancer diagnosis; we aim to provide peer support and helpful input and information from external organisations in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Our cancer support group runs on the last Wednesday of every month from 2pm to 1.30pm. Each month we invite guest organisations to come along and share useful information and supports with those with a current or historic cancer diagnosis. There is also time for group members to chat if they wish, and tea and coffee are provided. Sessions will be facilitated by a member of the Mearns Kirk Helping Hands team. You don't need to book for the group ahead of time, all are welcome.
For more information you can Contact Us email hello@mkhelpinghands.org.uk or phone 07858 552 767.

At present our group aims to offer support to those with a current or historic diagnosis of cancer. We recognise that those supporting loved ones with a diagnosis may also need support, information and advice; we currently do not offer such a group but we are happy to give you information about other organisations who can help if you are in this situation.
