Sporting Memories Foundation Scotland: Talk About Sport
The Sporting Memories Foundation Scotland are continuing to provide their intiatives and resources thoughout the current crisis. As MKHH has just begun partnership work with SMSF before lockdown was announced, we are delighted to be able to share all their current news and updates. This is just a small sample of the information and resources available on their website which you can visit here.
Talking sport on the telephone!
The website is being continually updated with new and relevant information, so please keep taking a look. In particular there is a video showing how to maximise the impact of telephone reminiscence here: www.sportingmemoriesnetwork.com/one-to-one-reminiscence-video but there are lots of other great resources too including quizzes and some physical activities to try.
Steve Rider - broadcasting legend
We are delighted broadcasting legend Steve Rider is supporting our campaign. He's made a video, which we've put out onto our social media accounts, and is on our website, too. Essentially, as well as promoting our work and the importance of talking about sport at this time, he is inviting the public to suggest their ultimate sporting moment. We'll gather these and put the best to him and record him talking about these.
Have you signed up for your Sporting Pink?
Sporting Memories club members and the general public can sign up to receive weekly Sporting Pinks here: www.sportingmemoriesnetwork.com/news/the-latest-information-on-our-clubs
We are really active on both Facebook and Twitter (@sportsmemnet) and please join in the conversation and #TalkAboutSport there too.
