An informal, cafe style get together for meeting others and sharing a cuppa and a biscuit (or two!). Everyone is welcome and our friendly volunteers will make sure you feel at home.
We are currently hosting the Blether and Brew via Zoom, once a fortnight on Wednesday afternoons. You'll find dates on the What's On pages. To join us, please email email@example.com in the first instance.
A Blether and A Brew was created at the request of some members of our Friendship Club, who wanted the opportunity to get together on a weekly (rather than fortnightly) basis and over the summer months. People value the chance to get together in a relaxed environment to chat, have a cuppa and spend time in company. Some people also enjoy bringing along a hobby such as a piece of handicraft they are working on.
The activity is designed to be “café style”; tea, coffee and biscuits are served (and sometimes we are treated to some home baking!) Our volunteers help to make sure cups are full and people are made to feel welcome and included.
We hope that people coming to the activity will identify other activities we may be able to provide to help people continue to feel connected.
