Funding Announcement!!

We are absolutely delighted to be able to tell our followers that we have been awarded £120,000 over three years from The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland . This funding will support our Project Manager and Volunteer Coordinator to help deliver our activities to support older people in our community.

The National Lottery Community Fund, Scotland Chair, Kate Still said: “Every day National Lottery funding is changing the lives of thousands of people in communities across Scotland for the better. This project delivered by Mearns Kirk Helping Hands, is a great example of community activity in action, showing just what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause or to help others.

“National Lottery players can be proud to know that the money they raise is helping to support this vital work which is making a real difference to so many.”

Thank you so much, we're very excited to see what the next three years brings and being able to help and support more older people experiencing loneliness and isolation in our community.
