A visit to Downing Street

Our Operations Manager Vicky received an invitation to attend a Burns Night reception at 10 Downing Street. It’s not every day something so exciting pops into your inbox!
Hosted by the Prime Minister and The Secretary of State for Scotland, the evening was a real celebration, with a piper, dancers and a performance of Burns poetry.
Vicky was delighted to attend on behalf of Mearns Kirk Helping Hands, and met other people who are doing great work in their communities. Thank you to all at Downing Street for a wonderful evening and an amazing opportunity.
