Partnerships
We know that lasting change happens when people work together. That’s why we value strong partnerships with local groups, charities and community organisations. By joining forces, we can share resources, skills and ideas to reach more people and provide even greater support.
Whether it’s co-hosting activities, referring to each other’s services or developing new initiatives side by side, our partnerships are built on trust, collaboration and a shared commitment to making life better for our community.
If your organisation would like to explore opportunities to work with us, please get in touch.
Sporting Memories
Foundation Scotland
We are very proud of our long-standing partnership with the Sporting Memories Foundation Scotland. The Foundation have been delivering reminiscence groups at Mearns Kirk Helping Hands every Friday morning since 2019. The membership has grown and grown, and we now regularly have 25-30 people attending the group.
Launched in 2011, Sporting Memories supports a wide range of people aged 50-plus, including those living with dementia, living with depression or facing isolation and loneliness to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through their regular club sessions, situated within local communities across England, Scotland and Wales.
They are dedicated to bringing older people together with the aim of making a positive difference in their lives by providing them with a welcoming, supportive and structured environment where they can develop confidence to improve their lives for the better.
