Funding News

We are delighted to announce an award of £250,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund. The award will be given over 5 years, starting this December.  This will give us the stability to continue delivery of all our existing groups, and the ability to grow and develop new services in response to community need.  It was great to be able to share this good news with attendees at our AGM last Thursday.

As for all charities, securing long term funding like this is a real achievement.  It is also a huge help towards securing additional match funding over the coming years.  It is wonderful that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised our work in this way and we are very grateful to National Lottery players for their support.

National Lottery players raise over £32 million a week for good causes across the UK. Thanks to them, The National Lottery Community Fund distributes over £600 million a year through over 13,000 grants. The funder plans to invest over £4 billion of funding into communities by 2030. It supports projects across the whole of the UK to turn their truly life-changing ideas into reality.
