Aileen Loudon

Aileen is a Senior leader with 47 years experience in UK Banking and fully qualified member of Chartered Banking Institute. Having led various departments with the Royal Bank of Scotland, leading, motivating and mentoring leaders to create improved customer experiences and prevent customer harms. Currently with Virgin Money leading on compliance and conduct risk reporting for the Banks Board.

Aileen is motivated by helping others and adding value to others lives, which brings her enjoyment. After caring for her mother living with dementia and her aunt with mobility issues, she wanted to volunteer to offer her support. Aileen qualified as a befriender for Mearns Kirk Helping Hands early 2022 and joined the board as a Trustee the following year to offer her time, help and support to improve other people’s lives across the community.
