Shaun Leinster

Position: Befriending Coordinator

Shaun is our newest member of staff. He has spent most of his career working in the third sector and has had various roles including working in a national press team, managing community partnerships and corporate fundraising. His most recent (and favourite) role was leading a digital inclusion service, supporting vulnerable older adults getting online.

Shaun is motivated by his passion for supporting older people and believes no one should grow old isolated or feeling lonely. He is happiest when on the frontline supporting people and delivering projects and looks forward to growing the befriending service with Mearns Kirk Helping Hands.
