Vicky Attwood

Position: Operations Manager

Vicky has worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years and has 13 years project management experience.  She started her career working alongside people experiencing homelessness, supporting people with long term mental ill health and substance use issues, before moving into specialising in working with older people.  Vicky has qualifications in adult literacy and learning, social care, counselling skills, dementia care and community development.

Vicky is motivated by the way in which Mearns Kirk Helping Hands engages the skills and abilities of our volunteers and members. She believes that people affected by issues are the best people to find solutions to issues and feels that this is our key strength as a charity.
