Volunteering Support Fund

We are delighted to announce that we have successfully applied for funding from the Scottish Government Volunteer Support Fund, managed by Impact Funding Partners.

The grant will be used towards the cost of staff support which underpins our work with volunteers.  Volunteers are our most precious resource at Helping Hands, and it is really important that we have staff dedicated to ensuring that volunteers feel supported and valued in their roles.  The grant of £20,000 will run for two years, which really helps our ability to forward plan as a charity.  We wish to extend our thanks to both Impact Funding Partners and the Scottish Government for this vital support for our work in improving wellbeing and reducing loneliness and isolation for older people in East Renfrewshire.
